It seems that Drawing is the tissue that holds all of the work I do together.
Drawing is an attitude more than anything else. Drawing is the process that most closely reflects the thinking process. It has a plasticity that makes this action spontaneous, receptive and malleable. It is an image that is built up in response to the mark, shape or form that just preceded it. My works are a record of the thinking process and like a line on paper that has been erased it still remains a part of the image albeit faint such as a memory it influences the next mark we make and the final image as a whole.
