Drawing is an attitude. It is a process that most closely mirror the thinking process. When working on paper I work under the idea that there are no mistakes. Even if I do erase a line or cover a mark, one can never completely remove the impression on a sensitive surface such as paper. Drawing is not preconceived but spontaneous. For me, each mark is a response to the one before, ever new, ever changing. |
